about
A dedicated Sitarist and passionate music producer, Rishab Rikhiram Sharma is a true descendant of the esteemed Rikhi Ram family of luthiers and a disciple of the great Ravi Shankar. At the ripe age of 10, Rishab picked up a sitar and has since inculcated the instrument into his very being. Devoted to producing rhythmic melodies and broadcasting his exceptional talent, his aim with each song is to send out messages to the world through the elegant vibrations of his sitar.
Originally written and performed by SYML on piano, he wrote this song in Paris while incredibly homesick. "When we leave someplace, or someone, it doesn’t typically happen overnight. The act of leaving is the result of many small interactions that may have been too small to notice until after we’ve left. The most heart-wrenching part of mourning is when you relive the moments when the loss had already begun, you just didn’t know it yet. Leaving can be a beautiful thing."

This is probably my favourite ever album. I have been struggling a lot with anxiety, and this is just the purest healing music I have ever felt. Singing along with it is pure medicine. Fell so blessed to have found this beautiful magical music. <3 darkmoondreamer
